Do's & Don'ts
Wash your feet daily, at least twice a day.
Dry interdigital areas nicely, use talcum powder.
Lubricate your entire foot if your skin is dry, but avoid putting cream between toes.
Examine your feet daily for redness, warmth, blisters, ulcers, scratches, cuts and nail problems from shoes or other sources.
Look at the bottoms and between toes.
Use a mirror or have someone else look for you.
In the winter, wear warm socks and protective footwear.
Avoid getting your feet wet in the snow and rain and avoid letting your toes get cold.
Cut your toenails straight.
Go to your doctor regularly & keep your Sugar, Blood pressure & Cholesterol under control.
Get your complete feet examination by Foot specialist, at least once a year.

Do not walk barefoot, neither indoors nor out.
Do not use " Corn Cap "
Do not use any tape or sticky products such as corn plasters on your feet. They can ripyour skin.
Do not file down, remove or shave calluses or corns yourself. Call Us Now
Do not use any chemicals or strong antiseptic solutions on your feet. Iodine, salicylic acid,corn/callus removers are dangerous.
Do not wear stockings or socks with tight elastic bands and do not use garters.
Do not wear any socks with holes. Always wear shoes with socks.
Do not keep feet near any hot objects like heaters, heating pads, hot water bottle, electric blankets, radiators & fireplaces. You can burn your feet without knowing it. Estimatewith your elbow or bath thermometer ( you can ask any relation of you for checking the temperature ).
Do not wear shoes or sandals which are narrow at toes & high heel.
Don’t wear synthetic or "Nylon" socks.
Do not smoke. It decreases the blood supply to your feet. Try to avoid alcohol.
